What is the Web login?

Before you can access an application of Daimler AG, you have to log on via the Web login with your user ID and the Web password. The Web login is the central access to the Daimler applications.

Requirements

Please make sure that cookies are permitted in your browser. Otherwise, you will not be able to log on to Daimler applications via the Web login.

What does single sign-on mean?

When logging on via the Web login, you do not only log on to the application you wish to use. You are simultaneously also logged on to all other applications for which the log-on procedure is performed via the Web login.
The process where you only have to log on once and are then able to use several applications without having to log on for them additionally is called "single sign-on". The advantage for the user consists in the fact that he can use several applications alternately without having to log on for each of them.

How long does the log-on remain valid?

For reasons of security, the log-on is not infinite, but limited in terms of time. If you have been logged on for 4 hours without any interaction, you will be automatically logged off. You are in any case automatically logged off 10 hours after your log-on. In this case, you will be led back to the log-on page of the Web login. After a renewed log-on, you can continue the interrupted process in the required application.
Please note: As long as you are logged on, any person with access to your PC (for instance when you leave your workplace for lunch) is able to use all applications for which you have access authorization under your name. You should therefore always log off after using an application by clicking the "Logout" button.
